Cabela's-World's Foremost Outfitter-renowned showroom in Sidney, NE is 100 miles to the west. Ole's Big Game Steakhouse & Lounge - "Nebraska's most Famous Watering Hole" - with hundreds of game mounts bagged by Ole Herstedt on display in Paxton, NE is 12 miles to the west.
North Platte is home to the famous Buffalo Bill's Scout Rest Ranch (home of Buffalo Bill Cody). Other popular attractions include North Platte Canteen Display, Lincoln County Historical Museum and the Cody Park Railroad Museum. The Union Pacific Bailey Railroad Yard is the world's largest reclassification yard where 3,000 rail cars are sorted everyday. North Platte is located 20 miles to the east.
Ogallala attractions include Boot Hill, the Petrified Wood Gallery, Bald Eagle Viewing Center, Front Street/Cowboy Museum and Lake McConaughy (Nebraska's largest reservoir). Ogallala is located 30 miles to the west.
